3 litre class of the VSCC set 3 race at Pembrey

Our competition year culminated with John winning the 3 litre class of the VSCC set 3 race at Pembrey, clinching the annual trophy for the ODM series of races for standard and modified sports cars. On the right John is receiving the trophy from last year’s winner, Jeremy Brewster.

As is usual the Talbot was driven to and from this meeting, showing its outstanding ability as a touring car. This was also demonstrated by a 2500 mile tour of the Austrian Dolomite and the Italian Alps in July.
