1910 Talbot 4AB Project

THIS PROJECT IS NOW SOLD

Much work done already on this example of a very capable and popular model of Edwardian Talbot, its lightweight means that the 2.4-litre engine will allow it to cruise at 50mph.

This car was found in the marshes in Essex and purchased by ourselves in 1998.

Subsequently much work has been done on the car in our workshop including rebuilt- chassis, back axle-new half-shafts, drive-shaft, CW and P, much work to the gearbox with many new parts, rebuilt front axle, new water pump, new water and inlet manifolds, new rear brake drums(re-lined shoes), new brake linkages, rebuilt steering, new tyres, new wire wheels, and hubs. The Bonnet and front-wings have been professionally made to the original pattern and only require completing.

The new owner will now be able to body the car in a style of their choosing and once completed this will make an excellent sporting Edwardian touring car.
